GI-Certified crafts of Kashmir

A Geographical Indication tag is a Government-of-India certificate that legally restricts a craft name to its place of origin. Only Pashmina shawls woven in the Kashmir valley with a fineness under 16 microns can be sold as Kashmir Pashmina. Same goes for Pampore Saffron, Kani Shawl, Walnut Wood Carvingand the rest. Every piece below carries that legal pedigree, plus the registration number on its tax invoice.
